Position: Fundi Welding
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks according to blueprints and specifications
- Operate welding equipment such as torches, welding machines, and grinders
- Measure, cut, and join metal components using welding techniques
- Inspect and test welded surfaces for defects and maintain welding equipment
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment
- Repair and maintain existing metal structures and components
Requirements
- Age between 18-35 years
- Proven experience as a fundi chomea
- Proficient in using various welding equipment and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
