Position: Human Resources Officer
Location: Mwanza, Tanzania

Reports to: Human Resources Manager
Purpose of the Role
To implement and maintain Human Resources policies, processes and systems that drive the achievement of business objectives. Support the Human Resources Manager to achieve a motivated and business-focused culture that promotes employee engagement and production performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Administer the resourcing procedure
- Facilitate learning and development requirements
- Support line management in performance management process
- Assist with employee relations matters
- Administer Human Resources administration function
- Monitor contractor adherence to Company’s minimum standards
- Complete required Human Resources reports
- Administer Industrial Relations procedures
- Implement and monitor Company’s Employee Relations initiatives
- Contribute to HR best practice development and implementation
- Adhere to Company policies, procedures, and protocols
- Seek and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Your Profile & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Business Administration / Human Resources from recognized institution
- At least 1 year relevant experience in Human Resources and Administration
- Knowledge of Labour Law and Union Relations
- Computer literate, competent in Microsoft suite
- Knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks
- Familiarity with HR management information systems (e.g., payroll, HR reporting)
- Valid Tanzanian Driver’s license (added advantage)
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) with report writing experience
