Lecturers (7 Posts):
- Departments: General Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Orthopaedics and Trauma, Critical Care/Anesthesia, Radiology, Pediatrics & Child Health, Internal Medicine (Sengerema)
- Qualifications: Master of Medicine (MMed) with a GPA of 4 or B+ average and a GPA of 3.5+ in undergraduate studies; registered by respective Council/Board; 2 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Attributes: Ethical conduct, effective teaching, student support, research capability, adaptability, and teamwork.
- Responsibilities: Teaching, research, clinical service, student supervision, administrative duties.
Tutorial Assistant – Department of Clinical Pharmacology (1 Post):
- Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine or Bachelor of Pharmacy with a GPA of 3.5+; registered by respective Council/Board.
- Responsibilities: Conduct tutorials, supervise seminars, assist in teaching, and support practical sessions.
School of Public Health
Lecturer – Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics (1 Post):
- Qualifications: PhD in Biostatistics/Applied Statistics/Medical Statistics/Statistics/Epidemiology with a GPA of 4 or B+ average; 2 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Responsibilities: Teaching, research, student supervision, curriculum development, outreach services.
Assistant Lecturer – Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics (1 Post):
- Qualifications: Master’s in Biostatistics/Applied Statistics/Medical Statistics/Statistics/Epidemiology with a GPA of 4 or B+ average; 2 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Responsibilities: Assist in teaching, research, curriculum development, student supervision.
Institute of Allied Health Sciences
Tutors – School of Diagnostic Radiography (3 Posts):
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Imaging with a GPA of 3.5+; registered by respective Council/Board.
- Responsibilities: Teach diploma students, conduct tutorials, supervise seminars, assist in practical sessions, and support research and development.
Estates
Assistant Technician II – Plumbing and Pipe Fitting (1 Post):
- Qualifications: Secondary education certificate with a Plumbing and Pipe Fitting certificate; 3 years of experience.
- Skills: Plumbing tools, building regulations, blueprint reading, problem-solving, basic computer skills.
- Responsibilities: General maintenance, repair of sewage and water systems, installation and repair of plumbing systems, light construction tasks.
Remuneration: Competitive packages based on qualifications and experience as per CUHAS Scheme of Service.
