Open Position: Financial Analyst
Job Purpose: The Financial Analyst will primarily analyze financial data and trends to contribute to the economic studies published in Economists Talk Magazine.
Responsibilities:
- Examine market trends, investment prospects, and financial statements.
- Collaborate with analysts and economists to integrate financial viewpoints into economic assessments.
- Describe how financial trends affect the overall state of the economy.
- Write articles and reports on financial subjects for the magazine.
- Stay current with industry best practices and financial regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree is recommended.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in financial analysis or a related role.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with financial analysis software and tools.
