Position: Accountant
Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and updating accounts, preparing payroll, ensuring timely statutory payments, maintaining petty cash, and preparing financial reports. The Accountant will also handle queries from external auditors and recommend improvements based on review findings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables.
- Prepare payroll and record entries into the accounting software.
- Ensure statutory payments (e.g., PAYE, SDL, VAT) are filed and paid on time.
- Maintain petty cash and file receipts, invoices, and bank slips.
- Prepare financial reports.
- Handle queries from external auditors during annual audit sessions.
- Double-check the accuracy of information to discover weaknesses or missing data.
- Strive for strict compliance and high-quality performance.
- Recommend necessary ideas based on review findings to improve the quality of reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
