Job Description:
Altezza Travelling Limited is seeking competent, qualified, experienced, and dedicated Tanzanians to fill the position of Restaurant Supervisor. This full-time on-site role is based in Kilimanjaro and involves overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Train and supervise staff, including waitresses and barmen.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance the dining experience.
- Perform administrative tasks such as shift scheduling and performance evaluations.
- Financial control of restaurant operations.
Qualifications:
- Strong supervisory skills, including experience managing staff.
- Excellent customer service skills and a dedication to maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Effective communication skills with staff and customers.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry, with knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- A passion for delivering high-quality food and service.
- A degree in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluency in English; fluency in Swahili is a plus.
